13 Months
Bryant has not tried standing up unassisted or attempted to take baby steps, but he loves his walker and I help him with laps around the house.
He has mastered using his sippy cup, all by himself. Well, I say mastered. He still holds it upside down and tries to drink. Yesterday was the day! He had been trying all week and would get it in his mouth, but couldn't quit figure out why nothing was coming out...the light bulb went off, I guess, and he finally turned it up!
He has decided to be a bit picky about what he wants to eat. Also, he doesn't like being feed with a fork. He prefers a spoon. But MUCH prefers to feed himself, with his hands, of course.
He has found cabinets and toilets. I've even caught him playing in the toilet water...teach us to leave the seat up, right!
I took these this morning...one right after the other, and oh yes, that is the kitchen chemical cabinet.

I love Dixie in the photo above. I think she likes to see him get in trouble. Not really, she just has to be where the action is. If she's had enough she runs and hides, but B is typically, not far behind her. This was a total submission moment...
He really hasn't tried to pull down the Christmas tree. He has just been a bit curious of the ornaments on the bottom.

He likes his daddy's Scooby Santa!

Thanksgiving
We headed to Birmingham early Wednesday morning.
We stopped in Trussville to see everybody. It was passed Bryant's nap time so Nick tried laying with him on the trundle bed, but he just wanted to play, so like any good parents we left him and would go back in to check on him, periodically. Well, he rolled off onto the floor, of course, and slept just fine by the office chair.

A quick photo opp with my sweet nephew, Reid.

Dixie lov'in on her Uncle Mitch.

Thanksgiving day we had lunch with Nick's Nana then headed back to T'ville for dinner at Nick's Uncle's house, Steve and Michelle.
B enjoying the conversation after a big helping of turkey and dressing!

Friday was the big game, AL vs AU. Nick was fortunate (or should I say, unfortunate) enough to attend the game. That evening we had Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and dad.
We relaxed on Saturday and that evening Nick and I went on a movie date. Good times!
Sunday we went to church with my parents a RMLBC. Mom and I worked in the nursery during SS and Service. What sweet babies they have.
Here is B playing in the nursery with Isaac.

After service the church provided lunch. An Olive Garden experience. Yummy Italian food. I needed a break from turkey and casseroles.
Later in the day we had some family pictures taken then hit the road to ATL.
