For some reason Bryant likes to hit balls around on the floor with his hands and crawl after them. Not sure what sport this is preping for, but he seems to really enjoy it. It is something he does pretty much on a daily basis...
This is a really short clip of it...

quick update
Bryant will be 11 months old this weekend. I cannot believe how much he is developing and growing. He is talking a lot more, babble vs screaming...although, he still likes to scream, and loudly! He said Momma for the first time on Thursday. It was the sweetest thing...He was crawling after me and said it plain as day. The next day he said bottle. Crazy! He is cutting his fourth tooth...which makes him cranky. We took him to the park Saturday a.m. so he could swing...sweet boy loves to swing. He just laughs and laughs until the motion about puts him to sleep.
His favorite time of day is the bath-time. Note this picture of him in the tub with no water...it's almost like he is puzzled as to where the water might be. His clothes are on which means it is not bath time. He proceeded to crawl into our bathroom (we have a garden tub) and climbed up the little step. I caught him before he fell in and placed him in there. He played, crawled around for a good 10 min. I got him out and he crawled over to the shower and climbed in...I think he was trying to tell me he wanted a bath so he could splash, splash, splash!

Goose egg
Look at that nice goose egg on B's forehead! He was attacked by a ceramic coaster. I of course have to get a picture to document this event...the first of many.

This was right after it happened. He's showing off his tooth too.

Is it apparent to anyone else that he is the spitting image of his daddy? This pic pretty much sums it up.

Mornin' at the park
I have been home with Bryant for a couple of months and we are having the best time. He is such a sweet boy!!!
Bryant playing with his favorite book/toy before church...wearing his little converse sneaks.

Bryant and I met up with our good friends Courtney and Elisha on Monday. We spent an hour or so at the park down the street from Courtney's house. The boys had fun swinging and playing in the sand.

I am so thankful for great friends! and great fun!

And so it begins
College Football season has arrived!

We hit the road early Friday morning and headed to Sweet Home Alabama.
Nick and I went on a DATE! Friday night. We went to eat and then to the movies to see Nick Saban Gamechanger. That's right...we paid money to watch a documentary about Nick Saban and Alabama Football. Oh, well...it was still a date. Something we have not done in a while. I actually enjoyed the film.

We went to the first home game on Saturday against San Jose State.

What a great view! from the new South stands

Bryant stayed with his Granny

Everybody loves Elmo
Yesterday, Bryant was playing with his table. The TV was left on from our morning watching of Curious George and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Sesame Street was on and guess who made an appearance....ELMO!!!!

That's right folks....like mother, like son...He LOVED it!
I had this weird obsession with Elmo during my teenage years...something about that little guy made me smile. To see Bryant's reaction was hysterical.
