Weekend

We are in Alabama this weekend for Nick's moms wedding. Bryant was a little fussy during pictures so we held up his dvd player with his VeggieTales dvd playing. That did seem to help. They had a gentleman playing the bag-pipes. It was really cool. Bryant didn't get scared he just couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. During the last song, he decided it was coming from a light sconce on the wall and just stood there staring at it. It was hilarious!

I sent B home with Granny and Pappy after the wedding and he didn't have his pjs, so Granny made it work! When I saw him Saturday morning this is what he was wearing...My old, old t-shirt, a pair of 24 month pants and baby booties. He looked so funny, but still cute as a button.






Saturday afternoon we went to our friends, Ansleigh, 1st Birthday Party.



It was a party fit for a Princess.







B is walking all over his Granny and Pappy's house. He is so funny. We have to trick him to catch him on camera ...it's a shame how we sometimes treat our baby's like dogs. I like grannys subtile toss and retrieve technique.








Granny fed B 2 chocolate (miniature) cupcakes. He LOVE it! He had one and started crying for another one....she caved...



What a mess! It was in his hair too.

B is so curious...two mornings in a row he has been in-to watching his Pappy cook breakfast.

New toy

Bryant found this in his room today...never noticed it before.








It's a wooden train and you can put the pieces on the cargo pegs to make it look different. He pushed the pieces around and even figured out how to place them on the pegs.

Steps

B took his first steps tonight!!!!!!!! I think I counted 5. I got so excited and he did to (Dixie too...she ran in circles from the excitement -- from me yelling). You could tell B knew he did it! Each day I see him less and less cautions and he is a pro at using his walker -- backing up, turning corners, etc...I knew it was a matter of time. Lets see how long the steps last before he is in a full-on sprint. This will bring a new meaning to the saying, "be careful what you wish for".

This milestone is just in time too because I made him a new outfit (http://mandymade.blogspot.com) and I want to see him strut his stuff in it!
