I decided to take Friday off. It was the best decision. I was able to spend the day with the most wonderful baby boy. We spent the day at home cleaning, doing laundry and napping. It was awesome! Nick even came home early because Awgie was visiting for the weekend.
I have decided my child is a genius. He knows how to make the faux slot machine symbols match on his exersaucer. See....
We even had to raise the height of the exersaucer because Bryant is getting taller!
On Saturday, Nick decided he would do some yardwork. Little did I know he was pulling one of his stunts that would classify him to appear in one of those "You might be a redneck if..." chain emails.
He starts out "ok" and was able to cut some low hanging limbs off of the trees in the back yard, but...An inch of success leads to a mile of stupidity...
He starts out on the opposite tree and then switches to "the" tree...He believed his plan of execution was going to work...all the while I am heckling him because I knew it was a bad idea. In our banter back and forth he did say, "What would Jesus do?" and I said, "He wouldn't."

Alan (Awgie) is below holding the ladder and I believe Nick is yelling down to him, "you got it!"... meaning...holding the ladder so I do not plummet to the ground...
He gave it a good effort, but decided he would leave it to the professionals. Thank the lord!
