30

Each year I have always looked forward to the next.  Like when I was a little kid I couldn't wait to be 13 (technically still a little kid) and shave my legs and wear makeup.  When I was 13, I couldn't wait to be 16 and drive.  When I was 16, I couldn't wait to be 18....and so on, and so on. Here I am doing it again...honestly thinking, what will my 30's have to offer?  What will 35 be like?  My twenties gave me a college graduation, trips, job opportunities, engagement, wedding, marriage, a husband, moves, life experiences, a house, new responsibilities, two beautiful babies...etc.  I don't see much topping that...

It is hard to admit that I have been very glass half empty lately, so let's hope my thirties bring me back to glass half full.

Nick took Thursday and Friday off.  He got me a massage for my birthday so I dropped Bryant off at MMO and headed to get my massage.  It was nice and somewhat relaxing...why do I always get the talker.  Oh well, it was still nice.  We then had lunch at Zoe's.  It just opened up the street from our house.  I had originally said I wanted Chick-Fil-A for lunch, but when I saw Zoe's was open I had to go.

While Bryant was napping, Nick took Bradley to run some errands and I took a nap.  I LOVE a good nap.  Nick had a co-worker sit with the boys that evening and we enjoyed a nice dinner, dessert and movie date.   We had a great time.  It seems like it has been a while since we have done that so I was happy he got a sitter for us to enjoy an evening together.

Friday, we went to East Cobb Park for a picnic lunch and play ground time...

We had a great time!
