Who needs expensive toys to entertain an 8 month old when we have...Hand Puppets!!!
This is absolutely priceless - ENJOY!
I had to run and grab the camera to capture this on video. This is right after bath-time, getting ready for bed and our night, night bottle. I sure do love that giggle!!!

One...
Week one at home...Check
One little tooth...Check
Bryant has one little tooth; his bottom, front, right. This little tooth cutting through has made for an interesting week. He has been a little fussy at times. Although, something to chew on, teething tablets, Baby Oragel, Tylenol, Motrin, and Wiskey (not all at once, of course) has done the trick. Wiskey seems to work the best...for Bryant's gums, not for me.

Aunt Pea came over to visit on Friday and we had some fun, fun, fun! She so graciously "fixed" my sewing machine. "Fixed" meaning...it was not broken...I wasn't using it properly.

Bath-time on Saturday night. He has figured out how to drink the bathwater...icky!

Ready for church

Pool time at home yesterday turned into pool time at Brian's place.

Bittersweet ...
On Wednesday I said..."So long, farewell..." to Spanx. I have been with Spanx since January 2007. Boy, has so much happened!!! I am really going to miss seeing all of my friends on a daily basis, but that will make the times I seem them much more special.
Here is my team, the Product Development girls, at Buckhead Pizza on Wed, my last day.

Left to Right: Wendy, Lauren, Me, Jadideah, Hayley, Amy, Sylma, Meredith, Kyli, Michelle, Kathy, Emily and Kristy. Not pictured, Jennifer and Tosha.
I must say a HUGE THANK YOU to the ladies at the SUNSHINE HOUSE for taking such good care of my boy.
Bryant and his teacher, Miss Destiny

Well, that's the bitter part...the sweet part is that I am finally able to stay at home with my baby boy!!!!!!!!!!
And we didn't waste anytime...
Thursday, we went to the High Museum with Alison and Cat and Cat's baby boy, Oliver.
What a fun day. We visited the High and ate an AMAZING lunch at Tap! I highly recommend the grilled cheese. Delicious!!!!

Our little ham ...
Nick's 1st Father's Day

I just melt when I see them together...my two handsome boys!!!
I love you Nick!

Oh, and I cannot forget Daddy's little girl...who's not so little anymore. Dixie must be included in everything!
The Ham
Nick headed out of town on Fathers Day, so Bryant and I (Dixie too) headed to Sweet Home Alabama for a couple days.
Bryant sure loves his Pappy.
Can you see the resemblance? Definitely a Marler!

Granny had to get in on some snuggle action. Bryant is the best little snuggle-er. This is after bath-time...settling in for the night...

Bryant wakes up in a good mood. He is also aware when the camera is on him...
Our little ham!

It was really hot so we decided to take Bryant to the back yard for some pool time.
Gotta love a good inflatable pool!
Maw Maw Marler and Aunt Resa came to visit with us on Monday (6/21). I was happy they were able to come as they had not seen Bryant since Easter.

Tuesday was a big day. First, we went to Granny's office.

Then we went to see Aunt June (aka Maw Maw June). That was really special since she had not seen Bryant since he was a few months old.

Wednesday morning we went over to Alli and Rob's so Bryant could hang with his cousins; John and Reid.

I love this picture. You can see how tall Bryant is and how he can finally wear his Sperry's...just like daddy!

Dixie looooovvvveeeessss her little brother....can't you tell...

Weekend review
Our 4 Year Anniversary was Thursday. So, Michelle (Aunt Pea) agreed to babysit so Nick and I could go out to dinner.
Michelle took a couple of pics of her and B together...

I decided to take Friday off. It was the best decision. I was able to spend the day with the most wonderful baby boy. We spent the day at home cleaning, doing laundry and napping. It was awesome! Nick even came home early because Awgie was visiting for the weekend.

I have decided my child is a genius. He knows how to make the faux slot machine symbols match on his exersaucer. See....

We even had to raise the height of the exersaucer because Bryant is getting taller!

On Saturday, Nick decided he would do some yardwork. Little did I know he was pulling one of his stunts that would classify him to appear in one of those "You might be a redneck if..." chain emails.
He starts out "ok" and was able to cut some low hanging limbs off of the trees in the back yard, but...An inch of success leads to a mile of stupidity...

He starts out on the opposite tree and then switches to "the" tree...He believed his plan of execution was going to work...all the while I am heckling him because I knew it was a bad idea. In our banter back and forth he did say, "What would Jesus do?" and I said, "He wouldn't."
I think he is praying in this picture...

Alan (Awgie) is below holding the ladder and I believe Nick is yelling down to him, "you got it!"... meaning...holding the ladder so I do not plummet to the ground...

He gave it a good effort, but decided he would leave it to the professionals. Thank the lord!
More playtime with Awgie...

Playtime with Daddy

Striking a pose...Is drool sexy?

Daddy makes a good teether...

Playtime is over...nite, nite on Mommy
