A little cuteness...

Bryant said to Nick this morning,..."Daddy, give mommy a kiss."
You see, Nick kisses me goodbye every morning while I am sitting at the table sipping on my awake juice (coffee).  Bryant likes to see daddy out the door and knows that just before he does that Nick kisses me goodbye.  It was the sweetest thing. Had to share that.

I took this picture before we left the house yesterday...

We met Bryant's teachers yesterday.  They were nice, and experienced.  I can't really tell if Bryant liked them.  He had some anxiety, but I think that will pass, as it did last year...once he gets in a routine.  He kept repeating, "He not like this room."  His Wee School room is the same as his Sunday School room.  I asked him why he didn't like the room and he couldn't tell me.  I think he was just anxious and nervous.

When we arrived I thought he was going to be fine.  He ran right to his room from last year and knocked on the door.  When I told him that wasn't his room this year he didn't like that too much.

I thought it would help for him to see his teachers from last year, but his lead teacher, Miss Lissette, left Wee School.  We found Ms. Bobbie's room and he like that.  He gave her a high five.

We have our second appointment with the developmental pediatrician today.  He is going to be "tested" today.  I have no idea what he will be doing, but my guess is it will the be same evaluation he has had in the past.  I'll update on that later.

He had a good speech appointment yesterday.  He did some new things.  Plus, we are teaching him to say, "I don't know" when he doesn't know the answer to something vs just repeating your question over and over and over.

His evaluation for Cobb County schools in scheduled for September 17th.  No clue about that either, but at least it is on the calendar.

Nick and I are in the process of canning some fresh vegetables.  We have wanted to do it but just recently purchased all the stuff.  We canned our first veggie, beans, over the weekend.

Bryant would say, "Pop beans with daddy"...

Poor little Bradley didn't nap Monday.  He finally gave it up while I was cooking dinner...

Because the weather has been so nice we have been going outside in the evenings.  Bryant sees all of the other kids playing outside and says, "He go play".

He likes watching the kids ride their scooters, so we finally put his together (thank you Aunt Resa and Sam).  We have saved this toy until it was the right time for him to use it.

Bryant helping me put his scooter together...

I didn't get a picture outside, but we let him use it inside too...

Not the best video.  I hope to get him scooting outside...

I don't want to leave little Bradley out.  He has his two bottom teeth.  He is a mess.  I hate teething!!!!
He still hasn't "crawled" but can get to where he wants to go.  He just kinda worms his way backwards.  He is trying to pull up...can get to his knees.  He likes standing and holding on to something.

took some pictures last night...

I took some pictures of the boys last night...

B insisted that I make popcorn.  He ate 2/3 of this batch...He loves popcorn!

Bradley is into more and more.  He isn't crawling, yet, but is trying so hard to figure it out...
Also, using those pointers...

Moving...

Playing...

Watching...

Since I realized I only snagged one pic of Bryant last night.  I took some of him this morning...

Bryant goes to the developmental pediatrician tomorrow for his first of a two part evaluation.  I'm not really sure what to expect.  I am more anxious to hear what she has to say after the evaluations are over.  Say a little prayer for B.  I hope he does a good job, listens and behaves.

What happens at GaGa's, stays at GaGa's...

Bryant stayed with my parents, GaGa and PapPap, last week.  He stayed with them over spring break and had such a great time...mom wanted to keep him again before school started back.  Bryant LOVES GaGa and Pap Paps house because he LOVES to be outside and GaGa does too.  So, it works. They had a fun week together playing outside because that is pretty much what they did, unless it rained.  B would come inside for snacks, meals and naps.  Here are some pictures.  In no particular order...

On my way to GaGa's...

I ate all of marshmallows out of the lucky charms, so GaGa decides to give me real marshmallows...a new favorite snack...

My grandmother, Maw Maw Marler, came into town and stayed one night so she could spend time with Bryant.  My mom told me later that B put on a show for her.

Maw Maw reading Corduroy to B...

Bryant got to go visit with Miss Jan (Nana).  She drives a school bus, so I guess my mom wanted my heart to stop when I saw this picture...I am so not ready for this, yet...

It's hot, gotta have a popsicle...

B loves playing with the rocks.  Rocks and trucks outside in a swim diaper...Good times...

This may be a chick car, but I'll drive it...

I get away with lots at GaGa's house.  I only got 1 timeout the whole week...and it wasn't for doing this...

Taking a break from the heat, eating a snack and watching Mickey Mouse...

My pal, Patch.  He sure is a messy eater...

Thank you Gaga for taking care of me.  I had a great time with you, Pap Pap, Uncle B and Patch.

A little thing called, Brothers...

We had to pick up a few kid friendly snacks so we went to Target Monday night.  I have to share these pictures because it just makes my heart melt...

Bradley is 8 months old today! I took these pictures this morning...

He did better in the jump up this time...still spins, but not as much...

the weekend...

I haven't posted a blog in a while...I have been spending my free time sewing.  But, I thought that I would take a second to get something on here.  Honestly, not really much going on... just hanging out with the boys.  Yesterday was a family fun/errand day.  We went to Alpharetta and ran some errands and ended up eating lunch at the mall.  Bryant spotted the carousel and asked to ride it.  So, we did...

Bradley waiting on his big brother...

I was so impressed with Bryant.  He loved the carousel and wasn't scared at all.  We had such a great day.

Tonight Bryant was watching Mickey Mouse and got his puzzle out.  This is a fairly new puzzle and he put it together all by himself...So fun and proud...Cheese!...

Bradley bear will be 8 months on Wednesday. Time is flying by.  He is doing better about sleeping through the night.  I'm not getting up three times anymore...thank goodness.  He is really into eating puffs and mumm, mumms.  He really isn't into baby food, but when he eats it he prefers the veggies; sweet potatoes, squash and green beans.  I sure hope it sticks.  He stops traffic where ever we go.  Seriously.  People just love that little guy.  Who wouldn't...

I am so thankful to God for giving me and trusting me with these boys.
