Well, I have ruined my toddler. I guess it goes back to when he was 5 months old and started eating baby food. I gave him apple sauce and later discovered that was the wrong move. I was supposed to start with a vegetable. That way they begin to enjoy/have a taste for vegetables. Because I started with a sweet, Bryant has really never liked vegetables. The only baby food vegetable he would eat was sweet potatoes. Then, when he started eating solids he would only eat green beans for the longest. Later, he stopped eating green beans and would only eat fried okra. Now, the only veggie he will eat is black eye peas. So, we are at the point of bribing him with sweets to get him to eat his dinner. Hence, more M's. Can you guess?.....
He is asking for M&M's. It used to be fruit snacks, now it's M&Ms.
I think we have hit a patch of terrible 2's. He wants what he wants and if he doesn't get it he is not a nice person.
I didn't fix dinner last night because we had a big lunch and snacked all afternoon. So, I popped fish sticks in the oven for Bryant. He turned his nose up to them. I bribed him with M&Ms and he could watch a show of his choice. He didn't take my offer, so I moved on. He finally ate peaches. So, he got to watch a show of his choice...Mickey Mouse! No M&Ms. I didn't cave to that...even though that would have been so much easier.
Other fun stuff...
Bryant has started wanting to take his clothes off and play around the house in his diaper. I have a couple pictures, but decided not to post them.
He has started turning the lights on and off, again. We had to put away the chairs to his table because he would move them around to every light switch and turn the lights on and off. He has now figured out he can use his toys; the wagon, his toolbox, the bumbo, his truck...which he fell off of because it rolls. I worn him every time, but it doesn't do any good. This is what I am talking about...
I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time outside this spring and summer. We were outside on Saturday and Sunday. Bryant loves collecting rocks. He collects them in his bucket. He decided on Saturday it would be fun to take them out of the bucket and put them back in. I know he likes the way the rocks feel in his hands, but I also assume he likes the sound it makes when dropped into the bucket.
Whatever entertains...Which takes me to the next fun activity...
Pine cone batting practice...
This is the smallest bat alive. It was given to us for Bryant to use, but it is now dented because Nick decided it would be fun to hit rocks over the fence. We also use this bat to hit Dixie's tennis ball. Daddy decided it would also be fun to hit pine cones...
Watching his every move...
Sweet moments...
This one makes me want to do it again....
I'm not going to!
We were all outside...I happened to look down and saw this...

Made me laugh! I had to get a picture. Not long ago it was just two classes, and now it's four. God is Good.
